A citizen is defined as an inhabitant of a particular place. Basically, a resident of a city or town. I believe everyone can be a citizen in their town, city, state or even the world. As a citizen though, I feel we have certain responsibilities to maintain and uphold. I think citizens should vote (when they are 18 or older) and get involved in their community and the issues. Citizens should contribute back to society and take part in it. For example, children should go to school and adults should work to help make the world run. Whether you play a minor or major role in the world everyone is a citizen.
